Reese Witherspoon Isn’t Ruling Out Running for Political Office

Reese Witherspoon and her daughter, Ava Phillippe, added a dose of holiday cheer to their mommy-and-me twinning moment. In a new Instagram post, Witherspoon and Ava (she shares her daughter with ex Ryan Phillippe) are both wearing holiday sweaters from Draper James. And if Witherspoon's caption is any indication, while the finished photo looks sweet, it wasn't easy. Apparently, capturing holiday bliss comes with a lot of begging.

"Ok. It's [100] true that I had to beg her to wear a matching Holiday sweater.... but isn't it CUTE??!! #humorme #itsamomthing @draperjames," she captioned the post. In addition to the matching sweaters, they were holding identical snowflake mugs and both wearing bright red lipstick.

Witherspoon's famous friends, including Jennifer Garner, Katie Couric, and Selma Blair, commented on the post, mentioning how cute it was and how any level of begging made it worth it.

"Worth it," Garner wrote alongside heart-eye and star emoji.

"Adorable!" Couric commented.

Even Ava commented, writing, "hehe love you," and adding a red heart.

Padma Lakshmi added that she was "seeing double," since the two look nearly identical, even without the holiday sweaters.

Back in September, when Witherspoon posted a birthday tribute to Ava, the doting mom was also treated to a sweet comment from her daughter, who wrote, "love you the most, mama!" on the post.
