Ready to say 'I do'? Leon County plans Valentine's Day group wedding ceremony
Are you or someone you know ready to tie the knot in 2024? Say “I Do” with the Leon County Clerk of the Court.
Registration for the Clerk’s Second Annual Valentine’s Day group wedding is now open. The single group ceremony will be officiated by Clerk Gwen Marshall Knight and will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024.

The ceremony will take place outside on the front lawn of the Main House at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens, 1600 Miccosukee Road.
“This is the second edition of what will be an annual event, “Clerk Marshall Knight said. “I am grateful for the continued partnership with Goodwood Museum & Gardens to bring this very special event to our community.”
To participate in the Valentine’s Day Wedding, couples must obtain a marriage license and register online by Feb. 2, 2024. The Clerk has waived the normal $30 wedding ceremony fee. Standard marriage license fees will still apply. The application for a marriage license is required to be completed online at leonclerk.com.
To apply, both applicants must have a valid form of photo ID and appear in person at either of the two Clerk’s office locations – the Leon County Courthouse or the NE Branch on Metropolitan Boulevard – during regular hours of operation, Monday- Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. After applying you can sign up for the group ceremony at our ceremony sign up site.
Following the ceremony, couples will receive a special Commemorative Marriage Certificate and access to the wedding photos online.
