Michelle Obama knows that what the world needs now is comfort. Many of us are quarantined inside our homes or on the front lines doing the work considered essential for keeping our communities afloat. On this Easter Sunday, the former first lady shared a message on her Instagram that will lift up the spirits of anyone who needs that right now.

Obama posted a photo of her young daughters during the White House Easter celebration to wish Americans a happy Easter and Passover.

"As many of us celebrate Easter and Passover during this time of physical distancing, I know that we may be missing the togetherness and traditions we’ve shared in years past," she wrote. "This year, I’ve been feeling a newfound sense of gratitude for all the little moments I used to take for granted. And I know so many of you are also trying your best to make new memories, like attending church online or sharing Sunday dinner over video chat with your relatives. What are your favorite Easter or Passover traditions and how do you plan on keeping them alive this year? I would love to hear all about them in the comments."

Her followers added their comments with how they were celebrating their holidays and sent their best wishes to the Obama family.

This is not the first time the former FLOTUS has been posting uplifting messages during the coronavirus pandemic. On World Health Day, she posted a photo collage of healthcare workers with the following message: "On this #WorldHealthDay, I want to thank all the healthcare workers on the frontlines who have been risking their lives for us. I hope you’ll join me in expressing gratitude to the healthcare workers in your life. Whether through a text or phone call, it only takes a moment to let them know just how appreciated they are."

There's a lot more where that came from, so if you need something to make you smile today and in the future, just go to Michelle Obama's Instagram. It will do the trick.
