Killer Mike—whose real name is Michael Santiago Render—was escorted out of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles just before the start of the show following an alleged physical altercation with a security guard, TMZ reports.
A video of the rapper walking out of the arena was shared to social media by The Hollywood Reporter, where Killer Mike could be seen with his hands cuffed behind his back and surrounded by several members of law enforcement.
Just hours prior to the alleged incident, Killer Mike received three awards during the pre-televised portion of the ceremony, including both Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for "Scientists & Engineers," featuring André 3000, Future and Eryn Allen Kane. His album Michael also won the award for Best Rap Album.
