Princess Diana's Niece Lady Kitty Spencer Just Got Married and Wore Five (5!) Dresses
Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer is officially married! And because one dress simply won't do, she went ahead and reportedly wore five. Kitty and millionaire Michael Lewis exchanged vows at Villa Aldo Brandini in Frascati, Italy, and she wore a high-neck, long-sleeved, Victorian-inspired gown by problematic fashion house Dolce & Gabbana.
After the ceremony, it appears as though Kitty changed into "an illusion baby-blue tulle gown and cape embroidered with cross-stitched flowers," also by Dolce & Gabbana.
Lady Kitty was walked down the aisle by her brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Samuel Aitken, and other fancy royal-adjacent attendees included Kitty's sisters, Eliza and Amelia, and Viscountess Emma Weymouth and her husband Ceawlin Thynn, the Marquess of Bath. Meanwhile, People reports that it doesn't seem as though Prince William or Prince Harry were at the event—though Lady Kitty attended both of their weddings.
So, who is Lady Kitty's new husband? According to Vogue Australia, he is chairperson of fashion brand Foschini and is worth more than $150 million. He popped the question to Kitty back in 2019, with a source telling the Daily Mail, “Michael proposed to Kitty before Christmas. She’s been in Cape Town for the holidays and told her mother and the rest of the family. Michael is loved by all of them. Despite his wealth, he’s very humble and low key.”
