Prince William and Prince Harry Are Fully “Not Talking” to Each Other
Looks like Prince William and Prince Harry’s reconciliation has hit a road bump: The brothers reportedly aren’t speaking to each other following their reunion at Prince Philip’s funeral last month. According to royal expert Nick Bullen, who spoke to Us Weekly, “All of my sources tell me that they are not talking at the moment.”
Bullen added that “it’s pretty clear that the Duchess of Cambridge was doing her best to build the bridges” at Prince Philip’s funeral and that “softly, softly seems to be the order of the day.”
This update comes amid reports that William and Harry have insisted on giving separate speeches at Princess Diana’s upcoming statue unveiling at Kensington Palace, prompting concern that their body language will indicate they aren’t putting on a united front at the event.
“The brothers will be physically together for the ceremony but want to make their own personal addresses,” a source told The Sun, via Page Six. “You might have thought they’d go for a joint statement and speech but that’s not the case. Each has insisted on preparing their own. It is a big concern that their body language will suggest all is not well and they won’t present a united front.”
Meanwhile, yet another source recently told The Mirror that William and Harry’s relationship is “extremely frosty” and “Harry didn’t expect everything to be completely back to normal but his feeling after seeing his family was there is a lot of ground to make up. Whether that is harder or easier to do on the other side of the world remains to be seen. There is a lot of distrust in the camp and everything is still very, very raw.”
