Prince William sounds like the perfect referee, and the best dad.
When it comes to soccer, Prince George is pretty confident—so confident that he disses Princess Charlotte, in fact.
In a conversation with 14-year-old Diana Award recipient Olivia Hancock, who promotes gender equality in soccer, William opened up about George and Charlotte's sibling relationship. Per Hello! magazine, Hancock said, "So when I was chatting with Prince William he said to me, when he plays football with George and Charlotte, when Charlotte's in goal George says to her that 'Charlotte I'm better than you.'"
According to Hancock, Prince William reportedly lets his son know, "George, Charlotte could be as good as you." Everyone will probably agree that Prince William sounds like the best dad, and the perfect soccer referee. Hancock agreed and said, "It's great to hear that Prince William is saying that to George."
Even though the royal siblings are reportedly competitive with one another, they're also incredibly supportive. A royal insider previously told People, "They are close in age, and they spend so much time together." The source continued, "Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other."
Since September 2019, Charlotte has been attending the same school as Prince George, Thomas's Battersea.
