Prince William Is Back From Vacation with a Fresh Tan
After a few weeks on a family getaway in Mustique, Prince William has returned to his royal duties. Today, he made an appearance at the 100th anniversary memorial of the Battle of Amiens in Amiens, France.
The Duke of Cambridge made his entrance looking sun-kissed and well-suited for the ceremony, sporting a red and blue striped tie and medals in his jacket pocket.
He looked noticeably tan while making his way into the cathedral for the ceremony. (A sign of a vacation well-spent.)
The father of three was also slightly red, perhaps from sunburn. But hey, we've all been there.
For reference, Prince William's last appearance before vacation was at the Wimbledon final on July 15. The Duchess of Cambridge accompanied him as they watched from the front row.
A couple of fans on Twitter also noticed the Duke's tan when he stepped up to the cathedral podium.

But the Duke of Cambridge didn't just step out today to show off his post-vacation glow; he also delivered a moving speech honoring those who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Amiens, which was a decisive turning point during WWI.
"Today we return to learn more about the experience of those involved during the historic summer of 1918, to honor the fallen of all nations, to commemorate all those who participated in this great endeavor, and to celebrate the bonds of friendship which unite our nations," he said.
William attended the centennial sans Kate Middleton, who is technically still on maternity leave. Their kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were also missing in action.
The Cambridges reportedly embarked on their trip to Mustique, a private island in the Caribbean, in mid-July after a fan spotted them at an airport in St. Lucia. Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton also tagged along for the vacation.
Although the getaway was a family affair, William and Kate apparently had a fun parents' night out at a party at Mustique's Basil Bar, which was also attended by Mick Jagger and his daughter Jade.
