Prince Louis turns two years old tomorrow and Kensington Palace honored the little royal's birthday with the release of a series of new photos taken by the Duchess of Cambridge earlier this month.
In the images, the youngest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton looks completely adorable donning a crisp, checkered button-down shirt while smiling and showing off his rainbow paint-covered hands. In another shot, royal fans can catch a glimpse at Louis's own rainbow handprint that he painted at the time the photos were taken.
"Sharing a sneak peek of Prince Louis’s handiwork ahead of his second birthday! ??," read the royal caption for the photos on Instagram.

The playful snapshot of the young prince's artwork isn't without a special meaning; currently, children all over Britain are displaying illustrations of rainbows to remind people to stay positive and honor the tireless work of medical staff on the frontlines of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Prince Louis is likely celebrating his birthday at Anmer Hall with parents and royal siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Cambridge family have been self-quarantining together at the country estate since the end of March.
Queen Elizabeth II, whose birthday was earlier this week, also celebrated in self-isolation with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, at Windsor Castle, where they have been staying together.
