Prince Louis Is "Balancing" and Growing Up Quickly, Kate Middleton Reveals
Prince Louis may be the youngest of the Cambridge bunch—just 21 months, behind four-year-old Princess Charlotte and six-year-old Prince George—but he's not wasting any time catching up.
On Wednesday, Kate Middleton and Prince William traveled to Bradford for a busy day of engagements. During a visit to one organization, the royal couple joined a workshop for grandparents taking care of grandchildren, and Kate opened up about parenting her youngest.
Jo Broadbent, who takes care of her six-year-old granddaughter, told People that the Duchess was a proud mom. "I asked how her children were," Broadbent said. "She said Louis had started to tell her 'he's balancing,' and she said it was really nice to see him turning into a little boy from being a baby. She’s obviously very proud of her children."
The royal toddler certainly is growing up fast. Photos of Prince Louis walking were first revealed in May, and soon after, the young prince joined his family on the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping the Colour for the first time. (Memorably, Louis showed affection for his fans with some very enthusiastic waving.)
More recently, royal watchers learned that Louis is still a momma's boy through and through. When Kate was taking part in an engagement last month, a young boy tried to get her attention my raising his hand and saying, "Me, me."
According to the Daily Mail, Kate responded, "You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying 'Me, Me, me' and he wants to come everywhere with me."
