Prince Harry Sent Out the Sweetest Thank You Notes to His Birthday Well-Wishers
As you might expect, the royal family takes etiquette seriously. From elaborate wedding dress codes to gift-giving protocols, there are a lot of rules for keeping up with the most polite of polite society. So really, it's only natural to expect Prince Harry to follow up on his many birthday well-wishers with a proper thank you note.

The prince, who celebrated his 34th birthday on September 15, received a number of notes about milestone, and while Kensington Palace sent out a digital thank you to Harry's well-wishers, a few also received a physical token of his gratitude as well.
The thank you card, shared on Instagram by the user @loopycrown3, is printed with a photo of Harry from his December 2016 visit to Camp Ayanganna in Guyana as well as a short note.
"The Duke of Sussex is most grateful to you for writing as you did on the occasion of his 34th birthday," it reads. "It really was so thoughtful of you and His Royal Highness sends his warmest thanks and best wishes.”

Of course, after such a busy year, this hasn't been Harry's first opportunity to send out a royal thank you note. Another one went out earlier this summer in thanks for the numerous congratulations he and Meghan Markle received for their wedding this May. That one featured an elegant black and white photo of the prince reclining on the stairs with the new Duchess of Sussex on their wedding day, both of them grinning from ear to ear.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did,” that card read. “It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by The Royal Highness who send you their very best wishes.”

While Harry may not have the opportunity to send out any more missives for a while-the royal family tends to limit their public correspondence to major dates like birthdays and weddings-his schedule won't be slowing down any time soon. Later this month, he and Meghan will set out on a royal tour of the Oceania region. They are scheduled to arrive in Sydney, Australia on October 16 and will spend just over two weeks traveling through Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand before returning home on October 31 according to an itinerary for the trip released by Kensington Palace earlier this month.
While they're in Sydney, the couple will also be making time to attend the annual Invictus Games, the international adaptive sport competition for servicemen, women, and veterans that Prince Harry founded in 2014. Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance together as a couple at the Invictus Games in Toronto last year and attended U.K. team trials in England shortly before their wedding this spring, making the event even more special for them.
