Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding Venue Is Reopening to the Public

Though it's been three years since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, their wedding day is surely one to remember. And soon, everyone will be able to relive the big day by visiting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding reception venue—Frogmore House.
The royal residence hosted approximately 200 guests for an evening reception, following Meghan and Harry's wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle in 2018. Though the reception was closed to press and the public, the venue has in the past been open to visitors on select days. However, Frogmore House was closed to the public for the past two years, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, the royal residence will renew public access for both spring Charity Open Days, in which admission prices go toward worthy causes and August tour groups.
Along with seeing Frogmore House itself, visitors will also be able to walk around the residence's gardens. Per People, Queen Elizabeth has been spotted walking her corgis in these gardens. The grounds also served as the setting for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's engagement portraits. Additionally, Frogmore House is near Frogmore Cottage, where Meghan and Harry lived while residing in the UK. Prince Harry recently stayed at the Cottage during his visit to England last month, as he attended the Princess Diana statue unveiling.
Frogmore House was originally built in 1684 and was then purchased by George III's wife, Queen Charlotte, in 1792. It has since been a royal retreat for over 300 years. More recently, the Queen Mother loved Frogmore House and spent part of her honeymoon there in 1923. According to the residence's website, the Queen Mother also loved to picnic at Frogmore House, a tradition that is still carried on by the Royal Family today.
