Prince George and Princess Charlotte Have the Sweetest Christmas Tradition
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will play a special role in decorating the palace this year, as part of one of the royal family's long standing Christmas traditions. Per The Telegraph, their grandmother Carole Middleton will place a mini Christmas tree in each of their bedrooms, “so that they can decorate it themselves.”
Kate and William reportedly make an effort each year to carve out time for the Middletons on Christmas Day. While the royal family will likely spend the majority of the holiday at the Queen's Sandringham House in Norfolk, they were photographed leaving a church near the Middleton residence on Christmas Day two years ago, which could mean they're due for a visit to Kate's family this year.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have yet to share exactly how they'll be spending the holiday, but it's been reported that they'll join Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (and, potentially, Meghan's mother Doria Ragland) at the Queen's Norfolk estate for church, charades, and gag gifts.
