Prince George at the Houghton Horse Trials
After stealing the show at their Uncle Harry's wedding last weekend, Prince George and Princess Charlotte had a decidedly normal Saturday at the Houghton Horse Trials with their mom.
The royals were spotted at the annual event in Norfolk, which bills itself as "a fantastic day out for all the family," and features not only equestrian competitions, but also shopping, food and drinks, and children's entertainment including a bouncy castle and balloon animals.
Princess Charlotte was seen enjoying an ice cream cone while wearing an adorable pink sundress and matching hairbow. Prince George looked a bit more casual than we're used to seeing him in a dark green polo shirt, and khaki shorts.
According to the Daily Mail, which has pictures from the day, "George was seen climbing into an air ambulance vehicle – his father Prince William was a pilot with the East Anglian service until July last year."
Both kiddos appear to have worn matching Hampton Canvas shoes from Trotters; George's were navy blue, and Charlotte's were bright pink.
Duchess Kate wore a surprisingly affordable dress from Zara for the day spent outside. The sky blue, off-the-shoulder style cost just under $70, but it sold out immediately after photos of her surfaced.
Little Prince Louis, and his father Prince William were not seen at the event. Perhaps they were having a bit of Daddy / son bonding time back at Kensington Palace.
Earlier this week, the Duchess of Cambridge opened up about her family life in a letter in support of children's hospice care.
The note, which was shared on Twitter, reads, "Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish."
