PrideFest returns to Milwaukee in June. Here's what you need to know.
PrideFest is returning to Milwaukee this summer to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The festival has been held in the city for more than 30 years and has grown in popularity since starting in the late 1980s.
Here's what to know about the festival if you're planning on attending this year:
When is Milwaukee PrideFest 2024?
Milwaukee Pride is on June 6-8.
Thursday, June 6: 4 p.m. to midnight
Friday, June 7: 3 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, June 8: noon to midnight

Where is Milwaukee PrideFest 2024?
PrideFest will be held at the Summerfest Grounds at Henry Maier Festival Park, at 200 N. Harbor Drive in Milwaukee.
Headlining acts at Milwaukee PrideFest 2024:
For 2024, the headliners at the SkyyLine Main Stage are Totally Neon (5:30 p.m.), Bell Bastien (7:15p.m.) and MkX (8:15p.m.) on Thursday night, and MKE Royals (3:15 p.m.), Funk Summit Bass Team (4:45 p.m.), Jerry Grillo (6:15p.m.), Dixon Dallas (9p.m.) and David Archuleta (10:30 p.m.) on Friday night.
Headliners on Saturday night include Reyna (12:15p.m.), Our Voice Milwaukee (1:20 p.m.), Homme Fatale (2:25 p.m.), Benjamin Koll (3:40 p.m.), Debby Holiday (5 p.m.), Murray's Misfits (6:30 p.m.), Cupcakke (8 p.m.), Icona Pop (9:15p.m.) and Mya (10:45 p.m.).
Other performances throughout the day include musicians and drag shows, among others.

Can I bring in my backpack to PrideFest?
No bags or backpacks are allowed per the rules of the Summerfest grounds. Festivalgoers aren't allowed to bring in any food or beverage carry-ins. You can contact PrideFest Milwaukee regarding any special exceptions.
Is there a Pride parade in Milwaukee?
The Milwaukee Pride Parade is usually held the same weekend as PrideFest Milwaukee. The parade will be on Sunday, June 9, 2024 with a 2 p.m. step off time. The parade runs between 2nd Street in Walker's Point to Scott and Seeboth streets. For more information, you can visit www.prideparademke.org.
Other Pride events in Wisconsin:
Ride with Pride: Join motorcyclists for a ride on June 8. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. and kickstands up at noon. The ride starts at the Harley-Davidson Museum, located at 400 W. Canal St. in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Brewers Pride Night: Join the annual celebrate of the LGBTQ+ community at Pride Night on June 11. To get tickets you can visit www.mlb.com/brewers/tickets.
Chippewa Valley Pride in the Park- Eau Claire: Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community on June 8 with various vendors, musical performances and an all-ages drag show from 3-4 p.m.
Open Door Pride-Door County: Celebrate Pride with music, vendors and art activities on June 29 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Where can I park to attend PrideFest 2024?
Parking is available in front of the main gate for a fee, but the lots are not run or owned by PrideFest and the organization doesn't set the rates. There are also several lots nearby the festival grounds. Street parking is also available. You can view PrideFest's guide to see which recommended parking lot might be the best choice for you.
Can I take the public transportation to PrideFest?
Several MCTS local routes will get you close to the grounds. For an extensive list of routes, you can visit ridemcts.com. Some pick up and drop off locations for MCTS regular routes include Route 15 and Route 18.
Festivalgoers can also take the Hop streetcar to the Historic Third Ward platform, where they then can walk to the Mid Gate.
You can also rent a bike from nonprofit bikeshare program Bublr Bikes at one of the more than 100 stations in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and West Allis and ride to the grounds. Dock your bike at the Discovery World station and walk over to the grounds.
