POV: Jamie O'Brien Gets Lucky Again With Perfect Surf in Tahiti
Over the summer, we watched Jamie O'Brien and his crew surf their brains out in Tahiti.
His trip was what most people dream about and the vlogs showed the boys ripping perfect lefts, getting barreled, and loving life in crystal-clear Tahitian water.
O'Brien's latest video dropped yesterday. Like the others, it shows them doing what they do best in perfect Tahitian surf.
O'Brien captioned the video above:
"I am so lucky to have surfed this wave!"
The North Shore native opened the vlog saying:
"Good morning, this is a GoPro POV. Can't wait to show you guys how epic the waves are."
"What's going on out there?" he asks his friend and photog, Jacob Moss.
"It's firing," Moss replies.
Exactly what O'Brien wants to hear.
"Guys getting shacked right between the boys," he says. "There's more sets on the way, we're gonna jump in the water. Hope you're psyched up!"
He adds:
"This is gonna be the craziest, most crystal-clear POV video you've ever seen."
The crew of local shredders looks similar to the other sessions we saw with Tahurai Henry, Lorenzo Avvenenti, and Matahi Drollet.
As usual, viewers were stoked. Here's a few of their comments:
"Wicked sesh Jamie! Man that water was just mesmerizing."
"It's awesome to see you and Tahurai hanging again. I don't think people know how gnarly of a waterman that guy is. From the boog to the stick he is insane."
"This is one of the purest place on earth. For sure one of the most perfect wave on the planet."
