Pink Wants to Stab Her Husband with a Fork Sometimes and We Totally Get It

Husbands: Sometimes you love 'em, and other times—if you’re Pink—you want to stab 'em with a fork.

The “What About Us” singer cheered on her professional off-road-truck racer hubby, Carey Hart, at his Good Ride Rally benefit in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, October 5, and shared some relatable, mildly violent thoughts on marriage. Reflecting on their 11-year union, Pink said, “I just try to laugh as much as possible. And we go through moments where he’s helping me off the ledge and telling me things that only he could tell me because he’s known me that long.”

She may be grateful for Hart, but her feelings can oscillate pretty wildly within 24 hours. The songstress joked, “And then the next day I want to stab him with a fork.” 

Though the couple has braved many marital ups and downs, the singer shared that her stabbing impulses never last very long. She continued, “Five minutes later I'm like, ‘You look really good in those jeans.’ Being with the same person for a really long time—we’re going on 16, 17 years now and we’ve grown up together—and it's work. But it’s beautiful, it’s worth it, otherwise we wouldn't do it.”

The keys to a successful marriage: sporks and well-tailored jeans. Noted.
