Pillsbury Now Makes Edible Cookie Dough Bites, Including a Birthday Cake Flavor
Pillsbury has certainly stepped up its cookie dough game recently. If you haven’t noticed, the brand is in the midst of switching all of its place-and-bake cookie dough over to being safe to eat raw. Now it will be even easier to eat, because Pillsbury has new Cookie Dough Bites.
The poppable treat was recently found by Instagram account @snackgator. In fact, they’re not even listed on Pillsbury’s website yet, so it’s new new. But what we know now is that there are three flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and Birthday Cake. Could you think of three better flavors to start with? And just in case it isn’t clear, yes, this cookie dough is safe to eat raw.
“It’s pretty much impossible to pick a favorite. They are THAT good! Imagine classic Pillsbury cookie dough, just bagged up and ready to eat in the cutest bite sized treats ever,” the caption reads.
So far, the Cookie Dough Bites have only been found at Meijer, so it might take some time before you find them in more major retailers. But it sounds like it’ll be worth the wait to dive into those 8-ounce bags.
It’s cute that Pillsbury thinks we have any level of self-control and put the Cookie Dough Bites in resealable bags, but we’ve already decided that each bag is a serving size.
