Pillsbury Has Launched Hot Cocoa Cookie Dough That’s Filled With Marshmallow Chips
As we say goodbye to iced drinks in favor of hot beverages, hot cocoa is always a comforting option. Plenty of brands have come out with hot cocoa-flavored treats, including Pillsbury. It has made its Hot Cocoa Cookie Dough even better than in previous year, because now it’s safe to eat straight out of the package.
Both the packaging and cookies are a little different this year, but it already seems like it’s for the better. The chocolate cookie dough used to be filled with marshmallows and chocolate chips, but now the dough is stuffed with marshmallow-flavored chips and chocolate chips. The chocolate and marshmallow cookies are bound to pair well with an actual cup of hot cocoa, right?
Just like how Pillsbury has done with its Strawberry Cheesecake, Confetti Sugar, Reese’s, Pumpkin, Salted Caramel Apple, and other cookie doughs, the recipe allows you to safely eat it raw. While you can still place the ready-to-bake cookie dough pieces on a sheet and put them in the oven, now you don’t have to!
Each package makes 12 cookies, as opposed to Pillsbury’s regular 24, so that means they’re twice as big. Maybe we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves, but these sound like the perfect cookies to leave out for Santa this year … and we’ll take the leftovers.
