A year ago, they met while Kelley was at a friend's wedding and Peter was at his high school reunion. They met in the hotel lobby and danced all night.
Peter just posted a video of their first time meeting and it's actually so sweet.
Okay, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan's relationship has been quite a ride. Before they even dated on The Bachelor, Peter and Kelley connected in a hotel lobby while she was at a friend's wedding and he was at his high school reunion. They went their separate ways at the end of the night, but obviously fate and ABC brought them back together! To mark the one year anniversary of the first time they met, Peter posted a video of them dancing in the lobby and it's all kinds of sweet.
He captioned it, "A year ago today I met this one in a hotel lobby. We danced the night away and then went our separate ways. I truly didn’t know if I’d see her again. This life is beautiful, beautiful. Let’s see what’s next ?? @kelleyflanagan." To make this video even cuter, Peter spared everyone his legendary cringe TikTok dance moves.
Because Peter didn't actually pick Kelley on The Bachelor, he continues to work extra hard to make it up to Kelley and reassure her that she's the one. He recently told Entertainment Tonight, "People like to say, ‘Oh, she wasn’t your first choice.' And I know for Kelley, it has been tough to see. But listen, at the end of the day, this is a reality TV dating show. This is not real life, normal life, so it’s not the same." He added, "She is, I truly believe, the perfect person for me. And I feel so blessed to have this have worked out.”
