The Perfection's Wikipedia Entry Is So Disgusting That Twitter Cannot Believe
Warning: Very minor spoilers.
Despite the fact that it's a guaranteed way to spoil at least some elements, it's common practice for horror fans to read the Wikipedia page for movies before they watch them-just in case the film really is too scary or horrific to bear. The Perfection, Netflix's new horror movie-directed by Richard Shepard and starring Allison Williams and Logan Browning-was a good candidate for that; in the lead-up to the film's release, there was very little information available about it. All people knew was that it was about two elite cellists, Charlotte and Lizzie, who meet through the music school and teacher that they share. It sounds kind of like a musical Black Swan situation, right?
If you'd been paying attention to viewers' responses to the movie, though, you'd have a right to feel nervous:

The Perfection fucked with my spirit. I haven’t been okay since Sunday night. It’s going in the “only watched once and don’t ever need to watch again” category for me. It’s sitting right next to Hereditary and they’re holding hands. pic.twitter.com/TCGgpcG4l3

The brave souls who wanted to forge on went to the Wikipedia entry to find out what was in store. If you're curious, you can look at it yourself, but two warnings: spoilers, obviously, and totally wild description that you will not be able to believe is a real movie. Just know that one scene is so disgusting it made viewers feel physically ill.
Anyway, even this protective practice proved too much for some. All I can say is: Read with caution. And watch with even more.
