The Peach Truck Announces a New Cookbook
Since we received our first box of peaches from Stephen and Jessica Rose almost six years ago in our test kitchen, we knew The Peach Truck was not just any other mail-order fruit company.
Known for its firey orange boxes holding just-picked, ready-to-eat-over-the-sink peaches from Stephen’s family’s orchard in Georgia, The Peach Truck was originally started to bring peaches to Nashville where Stephen could not find any that reminded him of the ones from his childhood. Stephen and Jessica sold bags of them out of their ’64 Jeep Gladiator. Now they deliver boxes to all 48 states and have continued to expand their product offerings including peach jelly and pecans.

The couple just announced that The Peach Truck Cookbook: 100 Delicious Recipes for All Things Peach will debut on June 25th. While their website has hosted many of Stephen and Jessica’s favorite ways to eat a peach, the cookbook will have even more inspired by Stephen's upbringing in rural Georgia and Jessica's in the Pacific Northwest.
Coinciding with the release of their cookbook, the Roses will also be on tour with stops in Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. But this isn’t any old book tour. They’ll also have peaches for sale at every stop with available varieties changing throughout the summer.
