Parkside Candy listed for sale as owner retires
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Parkside Candy on Main Street has been listed for sale.
Philip Buffamonte, who is set to retire soon, has owned the candy shop since 1981. The building was erected in 1927 and since then, sponge candy, lollipops and taffy have been produced and sold wholesale throughout the Northeast.
The 19,000-square-foot shop at 3208 Main St. is listed for $3.3 million. The new owner will be trained.
