Pamela Anderson's New Movie Sounds So Good—and the Director Called Her Performance 'Daring'
Pamela Anderson is back—and potentially better than ever.
It's been a while since we've seen the starlet on the big screen but her latest performance is described as "daring and heartfelt." The icon is set to star in a film titled The Last Showgirl, directed by Gia Coppola. Here's what we know so far.

Alongside Anderson, the film will also star Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Kiernan Shipka, Billie Lourd and Brenda Song, Deadline reports. Meant to be a telling of an authentic Las Vegas story, the film follows a veteran showgirl in her fifties trying to repair her life when her show unexpectedly ends after a 30-year run. With her future uncertain, the dancer seeks to mend her rocky relationship with her daughter. What a plot.
“I’m so proud of our cast and crew, especially Pamela. I can’t wait to share her daring and heartfelt performance!” says Coppola.
The last time we saw Anderson on our screens was for her heartbreaking tell-all, Pamela, A Love Story, an extremely candid documentary about her upbringing and life in Hollywood.
The film just wrapped production, though there's no solid release date yet. Still, we're buzzing with anticipation for Anderson to grace our screens again.
