Pack Your Bags: Kate & Will Are Hiring
Yeah, yeah, yeah: You love your job, and the people are great, and your boss is awesome and all that. But what if you could call Prince William, Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince Harry your coworkers? A fairy tale too good to be true, right?
Wrong. The royal family announced it’s hiring a senior communications officer for Kensington Palace, specifically for the “Households of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Prince Henry of Wales” for a “Maternity Cover contract,”which means you’re basically handling all communication between news outlets and the royals while *somebody* is preggers.
The listing does come with a few tough restrictions: You must be eligible to work in the U.K. and, of course, be qualified for the position and “handle sensitive information with tact and discretion at all times.”
If you do find yourself checking those boxes, you can (and 1 million percent should) apply for the position by October 26, when the application closes.
Now, off you go. We’ll be over here reading Royal Communications for Dummies if you need us.
