One Lucky Couple Can Win an ALDI-Themed Wedding of Their Dreams

Calling all ALDI fanatics!

If your go-to store is ALDI and you’re planning an upcoming wedding, listen up—the grocery chain wants to be part of your big day!

The German-based family-owned discount store is offering one lucky couple the chance to win an ALDI-themed wedding.

"Every time our shoppers include us in one of their big moments, we feel the #ALDILove," said Kate Kirkpatrick, Director of Communications at ALDI USA in a press release. "We're showing our #ALDILove in return by giving one crazy-in-love-with-ALDI couple an opportunity to celebrate the ultimate life milestone with us."

Fans were really into the contest on social media, with one noting: “I would get married all over again for this!”

So, how can you qualify to win?

For a chance to say “I do” at the store, couples must visit Happily Ever ALDI from August 3-17 and share their love story. They also have to convince ALDI that they deserve to be the first pair to exchange vows at the store.

“By entering, they'll be one step closer to tying the knot on a special ALDI Finds Wednesday surrounded by up to 50 friends and family,” the press release states. And if you’re a true ALDI fan, you know how major ALDI Finds Wednesdays are.

The wedding isn’t just going to take place at any Aldi, however. The release notes that the “wedding party will get a behind the scenes look at the ALDI Insights Center, our model store at ALDI US HQ in Batavia, Illinois.”

The space will be transformed into a wedding venue, while the day will be officiated by an ALDI employee.

The lucky couple will also be treated to a romantic photoshoot in front of the store, a reception catered with ALDI food and beverages (Winking Owl wine, anyone?), a branded tiered wedding cake, and “appetizers such as our famous mini Red Bag Chicken sliders.”

They really weren’t joking when they said this would be an ALDI-lovers dream wedding!

On top of all that, the couple will also be gifted groceries for a year ($5,000 in ALDI gift cards).

Of course, there are some ground rules that must be followed if you want to qualify—you must be 21 or older, you must be engaged at least one month prior to entry, and you must be willing to get married on November 9, 2022 in Kane County, IL.
