OMG, So *This* Is Why Younes Bendjima Left That Mean Comment on Kourtney Kardashian's Pic Last Month

In case you forgot, when Kourtney Kardashian Instagrammed this picture a little less than a month ago, her then-boyfriend Younes Bendjima commented "that's what you need to show to get likes?"

And it was, fans thought, pretty uncalled for. But according to sources who spoke to TMZ, they were actually already broken up at that point, which totally explains the comment.

Apparently, they split right after their trip to Italy because Kourtney reportedly found out Younes cheated on her. The rude comments on the Instagram happened right after they broke up, which seems a lot more fitting if you think of them in a "salty ex boyfriend" light instead of a "loving boyfriend who you just went to Italy with" light.

What's even more convincing is that a few days after he wrote this mean comment (which he deleted) he commented something else on a different Insta in what appears to be a redemption move. Like, he was definitely trying to cover the breakup tracks, ya know?

Here are some more deets on the breakup, per TMZ. Right after the Italy vacation, Younes reportedly went on a trip where he cheated on Kourtney. That's what prompted the split, not the most recent round of Mexico pics with Jordan Ozuna. Apparently, Kourtney just laughed at those because she felt like it was Younes trying to stay relevant.
