'The Offer' Trailer Reveals the Chaotic Making of 'The Godfather'
Paramount+ has released a new trailer for the upcoming ten-episode series The Offer, following the mayhem behind the production of The Godfather.
The trailer shows Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy, played by Miles Teller, tasked with adapting Mario Puzo's (Patrick Gallo) best-selling 1969 novel, The Godfather, which follows the notorious Corleone mob family.
Ruddy accepts the offer to produce the adaptation whilst being told the project is one that no one else in Hollywood wants to take on, and he soon finds out why. The producer is able to convince the iconic director Francis Ford Coppola to jump onboard but is still met with a mountain of resistance from all fronts as he fights tooth and nail to have the film made. The Offer tells of "the epic story of the greatest movie almost never made," writes the trailer description.
The Offer will release weekly, and premiere its first three episodes on April 28 exclusively on Paramount+. Take a look at the trailer above.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Peaky Blinders Finale has been confirmed to be a feature-length episode.
