Obamas Congratulate the Royals on the Baby

While many congratulations have come pouring in to Kate Middleton and Prince William since they welcomed their new son this morning, Barack and Michelle Obama saved theirs-one of the best, obviously-for last. "Barack and I are thrilled to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their newest arrival!" Michelle tweeted. "We hope to meet him soon for a Kensington Palace pajama party. I’ll wear my robe!" She shared the photo of the former first couple's perfect meeting with Prince George in his bathrobe.

The Obamas, of course, are on good terms with both Prince William and Prince Harry. They most recently hung very publicly with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry during the London state visit in April 2016.

The Obamas aren't invited to the upcoming royal wedding (no political officials are), but sources told royal reporters that Harry and his fiancée Meghan Markle "are very much looking forward to seeing [Michelle and Barack] soon."

So since they're invited to hang with Harry and Meghan sometime anyway, the Obamas probably figured why not publicly declare to their millions of Twitter followers what they want to do so it actually happens? Barack is a baby whisperer so the new prince will love him...
