This Is Not a Drill: Chrissy Teigen Is Coming to Hulu & Here’s Everything We Know
Chrissy Teigen is a model, a mom of two children, a cookbook author and practically the Queen of Twitter. And now, the 33-year-old food guru can add “Hulu executive” to her ever-growing resume.
Teigen just signed an all-new deal with the streaming service, in which she’ll create and produce original content through her entertainment company, Suit & Thai Productions. (Get it?)
Hulu announced the news during its NewFronts presentation at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and while little is known about the partnership, we do have a few details.
First, one of the initial projects that is being developed is a cooking show, tentatively titled Family Style. The model is teaming up with David Chang, the founder and head chef of the Momofuku restaurant group, who will co-host and serve as an executive producer alongside Teigen herself. The show will focus on the different ways that people use cooking, eating and food in general to bond with one another.
In addition to Family Style, the duo is also working on another series, with the working title Eater’s Guide to the World. The show will explore some of the planet’s most interesting—and delicious—restaurants.
Although Hulu hasn’t released any further details, the streaming service confirmed that Teigen’s deal “could range from scripted drama series to original talk shows.”
“The Hulu platform is Chrissy’s oyster,” the statement read.
Teigen is widely recognized for being the wife of John Legend, co-host of Paramount Network’s Lip Sync Battle and author of two cookbooks: Cravings (2016) and Cravings: Hungry for More (2018).
She was recently named one of Time’s Most Influential People, and we can see why.
