Nordstrom’s Fabric Face Masks Are on Sale for the First Time Ever

When Nordstrom debuted its protective fabric face masks back in March, the response was astronomical. At the time, it was still fairly difficult to find a reliable source for masks that weren’t running out of stock constantly, and Nordstrom’s impressive inventory and production capabilities were promising for shoppers who wanted a quick turnaround on their orders.
But even an enormous company like Nordstrom couldn’t keep up with the outsize demand, and masks sold out much, much sooner than expected. Nordstrom has since restocked its supply several times over to meet the constant, unwaning customer requests.
Today, for the first time ever since launching, Nordstrom’s best-selling face masks are on sale. Typically retailing for $24 for a pack of six, the masks are now available for just $14 per pack. The not-insignificant 40 percent discount brings the cost per mask down to just over $2 each — easily one of the most affordable rates we’ve seen for face masks yet.
The tightly knit, three-ply cotton masks meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s standards for slowing the spread of coronavirus. They include comfortable ear loops and can be purchased in packs of all-black, mixed black and white, or mixed black and grey. Customers seem to be happy with the high-quality styles.
“The masks were surprisingly good quality and made me realize how bad the ones I purchased on eBay from China really were,” wrote one reviewer. “They are thick quality and very soft cotton masks similar to a good t-shirt material that are easily washed and dried in the laundry and come out like any other clothing item. I noticed the pleats seem to reduce sweat unlike my other ones, as it keeps the material off your chin between pleats. No obvious fading or noticeable shrinking after the second wash. They have pleats and cover the nose and mouth very well. I’m glad I purchased them when I did as they were sold out when I went to buy more for family members and friends. Grab them when you can!”
Since being marked down, the masks are already picking back up in popularity comparable to when they launched; at the time of writing, over 1,000 shoppers were “viewing” the product page. With interest inching back up to its peak, we recommend adding these masks to cart before the discount ends, or worse, they sell out completely.
