'Nintendo Switch Sports,' 'Mario Kart 8' DLC and 'Splatoon 3' Headline Latest Nintendo Direct
Nintendo held its most recent Nintendo Direct event over on YouTube earlier this week, and aside from announcing a whole host of new titles, the company also revealed more DLC coming to existing games and ports for the Switch of some other classic favorites.
Headlining the 40-minute presentation is no doubt Nintendo Switch Sports, a successor to the incredibly popular Wii Sports. If you're looking for new games for your handheld, you'll also find Splatoon 3, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Triangle Strategy.
New titles aside, the Switch will also be receiving ports and remasters of older fan favorites, such as both Portal and Portal 2, Chrono Cross, No Man's Sky, Live a Live, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil, the first two Front Mission games, and Advance Wars 1 + 2.
Of course, there's also news for Mario Kart fans. While the company hasn't announced a new installment for the massively popular racing game, it has revealed more paid DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, bringing a whopping 48 new tracks to the title over the next two years.
