We all know the frustrations of holiday travel. The bustling crowds, the long lines to get through security, the overpriced food and drink at the airports, delays and cancellations and the long walks from when you arrive at the airport to your designated gate (which always seems to be the farthest one away from where you're standing). In Hallmark Channel's latest holiday adventure, nine strangers decide to travel together to get to their common destination. Think of it as the Hallmark version of Planes, Trains and Automobiles with an expanded cast.

What is Holiday Road about?
When bad weather leaves them stranded at the airport for the holidays, a group of complete strangers embark on a road trip together in order to reach their destinations in Denver by Christmas. The group is led by travel writer Dana (Sara Canning), who convinces grinchy tech entrepreneur (Warren Christie) to share the last available rental van. When their journey brings them into uncharted territory, they navigate a series of misadventures together and form a deeper bond that just might change the trajectories of each of their lives.

Meet the cast of Holiday Road

Sara Canning (Dana)
Sara Canning has starred in The Vampire Diaries, Primeval: New World and Remedy where she played Dr. Melissa Conner, a role that won her several best actress awards. She has guest starred on 9-1-1 and Big Sky.
Warren Christie (Clay)
Warren Christie has starred in series such as October Road, Alphas and Happy Town. He has also had recurring roles on The Resident and Batwoman. He has appeared in several Hallmark movies, including Crashing Through the Snow and If I Only Had Christmas.
