Nikki Bella and John Cena Are "Back Together"
A month after John Cena and Nikki Bella called off their wedding three weeks before it was supposed to happen, they're back on track to be together. They were spotted out together this weekend and it wasn't casual.
“They’re basically back together,” a source told People. Nikki was the one who ended up calling off the engagement, and sources said at the time it was because she wanted a family and he didn't. Apparently, they never wanted to not be in a relationship, they just didn't want to get married.
“This was never really about ending their relationship- it was about calling off a wedding because something didn’t feel right,” the source said. “It was a wedding that was entered into under false pretenses. She was pretending she was okay with not having a kid, he was pretending he absolutely couldn’t and wouldn’t budge on that point.”
Since the wedding was called off, John went on national TV to say he would totally have a family with Nikki. He practically begged her to get back together. She even said on the red carpet that she was very hopeful for their future. Canceling the wedding was the breakup called they needed, and now they're moving on.
“He has poured his heart out to her, and she was more than ready to take him back once she heard what she needed to hear,” the source said. “He’s been saying and doing all the right things.”
The source said they'll be fully back together soon, and she'll move back into their home, but there's "no rush."
“They know they’re going to spend the rest of their lives together,” the source said. “This time next year they’ll be married, for sure. And then there will be a baby.”
