Guests at the New Museum’s 2009 Spring Gala on April 3 were instructed to follow a dress code described as “delirious,” and they certainly didn’t disappoint. A group including Cindy Sherman, Emily Ratajkowski, Sienna Miller, John Waters, James Murphy, Marilyn Minter, and Darren Walker flocked to Cipriani Wall Street for an evening-including dinner, music, and a live auction led by Simon de Pury-chaired by Shelley Fox Aarons, Mitzi Eisenberg, Susan Feinstein, and Charlotte Feng Ford that honored the architect Rem Koolhaas.
Sienna Miller, David Byrne, and Cindy Sherman celebrated the arts institution-and honoree Rem Koolhaas.
