Nicole Richie “Never Fully Supported” Sofia Richie’s Relationship With Scott Disick

In case ya missed it, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie just broke up and now everyone thinks he’s about to get back together with Kourtney Kardashian, who sources say he’s “always going to be in love with.” Apparently, Scott and Kourt’s close relationship had a lot to do with Sofia’s decision to break up with him—but her family’s opinion also “played a big role in their issues.”

Sources tells Us Weekly that Lionel and Nicole Richie were “weary” about Sofia and Scott’s relationship and that Nicole “never fully supported” her sister dating The Lord. “Nicole and Sofia have been spending more time together since Sofia started spending less time with Scott,” a source said, adding that “Nicole has always been a rock for Sofia” and “wants the best and healthiest outcome” for her sibling.

Scott and Sofia originally went on a “break” after his brief stint in rehab but made their split official shortly after—around the same time Scott went on vacation to Utah with Kourtney.

A source previously told Us Weekly, “The quarantine has put a spin on things for Scott. He’s always had issues, especially with addiction, and that’s always been a concern on the Kardashians’ end and Sofia and her family’s end. Sofia noticed that he wasn’t doing well and gave him an ultimatum, and in the end, it seemed like Scott was more focused on Kourtney and his kids than her.”
