Newport Aquarium will kick off fall with giant, glowing, underwater octopus made of pumpkins
Starting Sept. 16 and continuing until Nov. 3, Newport Aquarium will have a new fall-themed exhibit.
Underwater Pumpkin GLOW will feature larger-than-life sculptures of aquarium animals. There will be an underwater pumpkin patch, a glowing underwater octopus and glowing exhibits.
The underwater sculptures serve as artificial reefs for the animals and leftovers from underwater pumpkin carving will serve as a snack.
Underwater Pumpkin GLOW is included with general admission.
Does Newport Aquarium have a Shark Bridge?
Yes, it does! Suspended over the 385,000 gallon tank in the sharks exhibit, there's a 75-foot long, v-shaped rope bridge. Visitors can walk across, suspended inches above a tank full of sharks.

What are the hours at Newport Aquarium?
Hours are subject to change and may vary over the next month, but as of late July, the museum opens every day at 9 p.m. and starting Aug. 12, will begin opening at 10 a.m. on weekdays. See daily hours at the Newport Aquarium Website.
