Netflix Offers a Sneak Peek at Season 2 of Virgin River
Finally! After months of waiting we have not only a premiere date for season two of Virgin River (Friday, November 27) but a glimpse at the drama and intrigue that's in store.
Though details of the show's sophomore season remain slim and a full trailer has yet to be released, Netflix did provide a snippet of what's to come in its November lineup preview last week. (Click ahead to the 3:33 minute mark for the Virgin River portion.)
The Netflix hit, which is based on the Harlequin book series of the same name by Robyn Carr, premiered in December 2019. Viewers fell in love with the story of nurse practitioner Mel Monroe (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) who, after escaping her tragic past, discovers small-town life and love in northern California.
According to TV Insider, season two finds Mel continuing her work at Doc Mullin's (Tim Matheson) clinic as she tries to come to terms with her past. Fans reportedly have an engagement, heartbreak, and murder to look forward to throughout the season's 10 episodes.
Oh, we can't wait!
