NBA Star Jaylen Brown’s Glowing Sneakers Break the Internet — Find Out Why
The Boston Celtics pushed for the win over the Philadelphia 76ers last night but it wasn’t the score that made the headlines — it was Jaylen Brown’s glowing shoes.
The NBA star offset his black and signature Irish green jersey at yesterday’s game with a set of fluorescent two-tone sneakers. Fans immediately took to social media to try and identify the silhouette as it took over their screens.

The neon green and blue pair comes from Adidas’ collaboration with Brown’s fellow NBA athlete Damian Lillard; the Adidas Dame 6 “Jam Fest” debuted on Aug. 7, paying tribute to the iconic ’90s handheld basketball video game “Jam Fest.”
The uppers of the basketball shoe are divided into two contrasting panels of “Signal Green” and “Bright Cyan,” with mesh overlays on the lateral side and subtle Three Stripes branding looped in as well. Finished off with the video game’s name splayed across the midsole on the medial side, the pair originally retailed for $110 but can be found now on the resale market anywhere from $179 to $378 at StockX.com.
As seen on the Boston Celtics’ own Twitter page, the bright shoes popped off the hardwood during the game and were visible with every step and turn that Brown made. The unmissable design caused a frenzy across social media with dozens of Tweets complimenting the style and trying to find the make.

One user tweeted that Brown’s shoes were the “best part of this NBA game” as another couldn’t take his eyes off the kicks. Another account compared the shoes to the 2002 hit movie “Like Mike” while a different Tweet approved of the shoes, saying: “always wear shoes that look like you’re on fire in the NBA JAM.”
One Twitter account humorously complimented the shoes by writing: “Jaylen Brown’s shoes would get more matches on Tinder than I would.”
The best part of this NBA game is 100% @FCHWPO's shoes ????#Celtics

Jaylen Brown obviously shares one of my only core beliefs:

As for the NBA player himself, Brown signed on with Adidas in 2016 before he was even drafted into the league; the shoe and apparel deal is reportedly worth over $1 million annually.
