The Most Popular Baby Names of the Next Decade Have Been Revealed
Plans to have children may not be a priority on your to-do list, but the most popular baby names of the next decade have already been announced.
Experts at Nameberry have predicted the top baby monikers of 2028 and a few unsurprising suggestions feature on the list.
Charlotte will rise to number one as the most popular girl's name of the decade after scoring a top spot this year - undoubtedly a nod to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's daughter.
But it's not merely the royal family who are influencing parents in their decision making, as Harper is set to steal third place with David and Victoria Beckham sure to be behind the growing trend.
Emma, Olivia and Evelyn follow closely behind in the charts.

For boys, experts predict that Liam will take the top spot followed by Mateo, Maverick, Noah and Lincoln.
"Names that get popular fast, usually thanks to a celebrity or a pop culture event, tend to fall just as fast. Beyoncé, used for 105 baby girls in 2008, was used for no baby girls last year," explains CEO of Nameberry, Pam Satran.
"Names that are popular over several years tend to stay that way for several more before starting a very gradual slide," Satran continued. "Emma entered the top 10 in 2002 for instance, moving in and out of the number one spot but lingering in the top five and we project it will still be in the top five in a decade."
