This Mobility Session Will Help You to Nail the 90-90 Position
While the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has halted the cadence of everyday life for just about everyone, the world is now beginning to adjust. We're all handling the challenges of social distancing and self-isolation differently—but that doesn't mean that we have to go it completely alone in every sense.
At Men's Health, we're using this period as an opportunity to build up our community and share as much useful, positive information as possible. For everyone stuck missing their typical workout routines with gyms and fitness centers closed down, we've done our best to provide as many at-home workout options as possible. But that's just the start. We're also hosting live workout sessions on Instagram with some of our favorite trainers to fill the fitness class-shaped void in your daily routine.

Dan Giordano, D.P.T. C.S.C.S., a Men's Health Advisory Board member and practicing physical therapist, hosted the latest session from his New York City apartment. The 20-minute mobility session aims to work the hips, lower extremity, and back.
"We're going into the 90-90 position, which can be hard for people to get into," says Giordano. "It's a position that a lot of people do, but also a position that a lot of people struggle to get in." The position is exactly as the name implies: you're seated on your bottom, with both your legs bent at 90 degree angles.
Through the session, Giordano leads you into this tricky 90-90 position. All you need to take on the routine is a mat and some space to spread out.
