Miranda Lambert’s Trip to Hawaii With Her Husband Will Give You Major Vacation Envy
Miranda Lambert went on vacation in Hawaii with husband Brendan McLoughlin.
The country star said visiting the island was a "magical" experience.
It's official: Miranda Lambert is living her best life.
In the past three months alone, the country singer released her seventh studio album, gave a killer performance at the CMA Awards, and wrapped up her latest trek across the United States with some of the most influential female artists in the industry.
Before kicking off her next tour in January 2020, Miranda enjoyed a well-deserved vacation in Hawaii with her husband Brendan McLoughlin. While on the island, she performed at the 5th Annual Maui Songwriters Festival alongside fellow country stars like Luke Dick, Boo Massey, Willie Nelson, and Maren Morris. Miranda, who has attended the festival in the past, called the intimate acoustic experience "a dream."
"Thank you @bmi songwriters festival for having us back this year," she captioned an Instagram post documenting her trip. "Maui is a magical place. Playing music here with great friends is a dream."
In addition to sharing photos from the star-studded musical event, Miranda gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her personal life with Brendan. The happy couple posed in front of the beach at sunset, had fun visiting tourist shops, and took in the sights at one of Hawaii's gorgeous natural waterfalls.
Apparently, Miranda and Brendan can't get enough of each other because she also wrote that she was "heading home for family time" after the trip. The pair got hitched earlier this year in a surprise wedding and, though some have been skeptical of their whirlwind romance, Miranda insists that their marriage is the real deal.
"I feel like I’ve been through enough in my life to know what I don't want," she told Health. "So when I know what I do want, I snatch it right up."
