Mindy Kaling stuns in white 'corset' dress at Oscars after 40-pound weight loss
Mindy Kaling stunned on arrival at this year's Oscars in a floor-length white gown featuring cut-out 'corset' detailing.
The actor, 43, posed for the cameras on the new 'champagne' carpet for the 95th Annual Academy Awards.
Her custom Vera Wang design also featured an elegant, strappy neckline and full sleeves.
She finished off her look with an elegant up-do, statement earrings and a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes hidden beneath her dress.
It comes as Kaling recently opened up about the healthy, balanced way she had achieved her reported 40-pound (18kg) weight loss since giving birth to her second child, a son called Spencer, in September 2020.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in August, she said: "I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it.

“I wish there was something more juicy or dynamic about the way that I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but that’s the way I’ve done it.”
The star – who has never revealed the father of her children – is also mother to five-year-old daughter Katherine.
It comes as the Oscars swapped red for a luxurious 'champagne' carpet for the first time since 1961.
The Associated Press reported that the unusual new "sienna, saffron" shade had been chosen because it "evokes the sunset".

As usual, the ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and this year was hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
The movie Everything Everywhere All At Once, starring Michelle Yeoh, was the big winner on the night, taking home seven awards in total including Best Picture. Yeoh also won Best Actress, becoming the first person from an Asian background to be named best actress.
