Here’s Miley Cyrus Singing 'Old Town Road' After Being On Vocal Rest for Weeks
Miley Cyrus' days of complete silence after her vocal chord surgery are over. The musician shared an Instagram of herself singing at her Happy Hippie Foundation's holiday party. There was the classic Christmas carol—"Silent Night"—and then Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' acclaimed hit "Old Town Road." Cyrus sat alongside her boyfriend Cody Simpson and father Billy Ray Cyrus, and her voice can clearly be heard in the clip. She's truly back:

Cyrus shared a sweet caption with the videos, writing on her 'gram: "@happyhippiefdn holiday party @myfriendsplace was a success once again ! ?? always blown away by the young people I meet at MFP! There is always so much love and talent! Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special time of year with HH! ??"
Cyrus' singing Instagram comes weeks after she posted about not being able to talk at all durig her 27th birthday on November 24 because she was on vocal rest. "I will never forget my silent 27th birthday," Cyrus wrote. "Thanks to my friends and family who made it so special!"
A source close to Cyrus told People last month that Cyrus was recovering well and would be back at full capacity in 2020. "[She is] doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year," the source said.
The singer had her vocal chord surgery in early November. People was told by a separate source at the time that Simpson was taking care of Cyrus during her recovery. “Cody is by her side. They are still doing well,” the source said. “Miley seems very happy. Cody will make sure she isn't bored while she recovers.”
