Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter Wore Matching Outfits and Held Hands on Their Fashion Week Date
Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter are now at the stage of their burgeoning romance where they're dressing alike. The two were photographed out in New York City yesterday evening, both in chic black outfits and holding hands.
Each wore a black blazer. Cyrus opted to pair hers with a crop top, pants, and nighttime sunglasses. Carter wore a mini skirt and black top:
This is Cyrus and Carter's first joint sighting in the Big Apple. The two separately attended fashion shows the day before: Cyrus was at Tom Ford, while Carter was at Jonathan Simkhai. Carter, of course, made headlines for the thirsty comment she left on Cyrus' Instagram of herself at Tom Ford. "dear god," Carter commented on the shot, with the ?? emoji.
Carter and Cyrus' romantic friendship has escalated since the two were photographed kissing on their Italy vacation. News broke that day that Cyrus and her husband Liam Hemsworth had separated.
Carter and Cyrus returned to Los Angeles and have moved in together, People reported. “They live together and are very happy,” a Cyrus source told People. “Miley is doing great. She is moving on. She seems to have no regrets. She loves being with Kaitlynn.”
Us Weekly reported that the two have developed feelings for each other in the wake of both their breakups. (Carter's marriage to Brody Jenner recently ended too.) Miley has “really fallen for her [Kaitlynn], and the feeling is mutual!" a source said. "Miley feels she can totally be herself with Kaitlynn, and is really comfortable around her.”
