Mikala Jones' Daughter Posts Heart-Warming Tribute After North Shore Paddle Out

On Saturday, hundreds of people who knew and loved the late Mikala Jones gathered for a paddle out and celebration of life at his home break, Rocky Point, on the North Shore.

As we reported, Jones passed away in July from an injury while surfing in the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia.

The love people carried for Jones is apparent in the post below.

His daughter, Isabella, captioned the post above:

"08/26/23, A day where we celebrated my dad’s life on earth ?? You are finally home and where you belong. There hasn’t been a day where I haven’t thought about you.

"You were so loved and have touched so many peoples hearts. None of this would of happened without you Dad. You and Mom created this beautiful life for our family. You will never be forgotten about and forever in our hearts.

"Thank you to everyone for all the love and support and making it such a beautiful day ?? MJALLDAY"

Mikala's wife, Emma, and daughters Isabella and Violet, were part of the ceremony, along with his parents and siblings, Malia, Daniel, and Keoni.

Of course, members of the surf world showed up to say goodbye, including: Kalani Robb, Benji Weatherley, Eddie Rothman, Ross Williams, Love Hodel, Flynn Novak, and so many more.

In July, the beloved surfer was cremated in Bali. A paddle out and services followed at Canggu Beach, where he and his family resided during their time in Indonesia.

Another paddle out took place in Huntington Beach, where a huge crowd paddled out to pay their respects.

That's a whole lotta love.
