Men with Feminine Faces Attract More Women

Do feminine men really make the perfect partners? Well, according to The Daily Mail, the answer is a big fat YES:
“A study found ‘masculine’ looking men were judged to be less faithful and worse parents. Similarly, psychologists found men with feminine facial features are seen as more committed and less likely to cheat on their partners.
The study asked over 400 British men and women to judge digitally altered pictures of male faces made to look more masculine or feminine. The participants were asked to predict personality traits including sexual behavior and parenting skills based on what they saw.
Men with masculine faces had features such as a square jaw, larger nose and smaller eyes. In contrast their more 'feminine’ counterparts had finer facial features with fuller lips, wide eyes and thinner, more curved eyebrows.”
So, in addition to symmetry and resembling their fathers, now women like feminine faces? It’s interesting that “masculine” has become emotionally synonymous with “virile,” which is shorthand for “unfaithful.”
There was another study about men’s bodies that suggested something similar. Muscular men set the women’s ovaries to ovulate but didn’t inspire long-term confidence. Trim, athletic men inspired more long-lasting confidence than their hulking brethren. And now soft, feminine faces are in.
What does this say for Daniel Craig? What does this say for David Beckham? Is he the ultimate man? Is he what Earth’s women would show aliens if they asked to see our best? And shouldn’t everyone be on to this trick by now? Isn’t this how Colin Farrell has done so well for himself?
This sucks for those of us that have “a little more to love,” tiny, beady eyes; huge, lopsided noses, and a unibrow. —Tom Miller
