Memphis-based restaurant known as the 'Godfather of Hot Wings' opens in Jacksonville
Self-described as "The Godfather of Hot Wings,” Memphis-based D'bo's Daiquiris, Wings & Seafood is now open at 901 King St. in historic Riverside.

At its King Street entertainment district location, D'Bo's joins established restaurants Kickbacks Gastropub, Carmines Pie House, Pie95 Pizza, Lola's Burrito & Burger Joint, Cool Moose Cafe, Don Eduardo Cocina Mexicana, Pattaya Thai on King, Primi Piatti and Sumo Sushi.

Restaurants: What's new or coming soon to Jacksonville's downtown, San Marco, Five Points
D'bo's founders David and Leticia Boyd launched the chicken wing restaurant as a food truck in August 1990 after crafting homemade wing sauces and dry seasonings. As its popularity grew they opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Memphis and then began franchising.
D'bo's is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
