Megyn Kelly Shares Bold Advice for Taylor Swift After NFL Joke
Megyn Kelly, Taylor Swift
While much of the world is bashing comedian Jo Koy for his Golden Globes opening monologue—and more specifically, his joke regarding Taylor Swift—Megyn Kelly is offering a bit of advice to the pop star, instead, suggesting she be more of a "good sport" (maybe like her boyfriend, Travis Kelce?).
At the star-studded awards show, where Swift's Eras Tour concert film was nominated in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, Koy's quip that "the big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL" is that "we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift" was met with minimal laughs and an icy glance from the "Lavender Haze" singer, who was visibly unamused at being the butt of the joke for her newfound relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

Now, Kelly is expressing her opinion that Swift made the "wrong move" by reacting that way to the seemingly light-hearted dig, and further, saying that she actually thought Koy was "spot-on with the commentary." But alas, as she pointed out, the singer "did not appreciate it."
After playing a clip of the moment, the media personality offered her two cents on the matter. “Can’t she just, like, show that she’s a good sport? I think she made the wrong move,” the host said on her SiriusXM show on Monday, Jan. 8, adding that Koy's jab was a “gentle swipe.”
“By the way, she’s not in charge with the number of times the NFL chooses to put her on cam. That’s not her fault,” she continued.
But, Kelly wasn't totally on the comedian's side while discussing the awards show, either, knocking many of the host's other jokes, and saying that ultimately, he "didn't go over well."
