Meghan Markle wears $1,149 sequin halter top to the Royal Variety Performance and looks amazing
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium on Monday night.
Meghan, who is expecting her first child in the spring, showed off her baby bump in a $1,149 Safiyaa London sequin top and long black skirt. Her hair was styled in a sleek bun and she accessorized with a glittery clutch bag and her Birks Snowflake Snowstorm diamond earrings.
Just after arriving, she went to speak to a little girl who had been standing waiting for her. The child gave the duchess a teddy bear and a card for her unborn baby.
Harry wore a black tux for the occasion.
The duke and duchess met the stars of the show before it began. The evening included performances from the London-based cast of Hamilton, Clean Bandit, Andrea and Matteo Bocelli and more.
Earlier this summer, the royal couple saw the musical Hamilton in London’s West End, which benefited HIV charity Sentebale, co-founded by Harry. He made the crowd laugh by bursting into song during a speech.
The annual Royal Variety Performance takes place every year and is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, of which the queen is patron. The money raised from the show helps hundreds of entertainers throughout the U.K. who are in need of help as a result of old age, ill-health or hard times.
Specifically, the charity assists former members of the entertainment industry currently living in Brinsworth House, a residence in west London that is owned and run by the charity.
